The Interviewer Seduction formula was my companion throughout as I get quite nervous when it comes to interviews. Gauging by the number of failed interviews I had in the past and the feel good factor I ended up with post my interviews and then still failing to convert, I had lost my confidence. I read IS formula as a granth, I couldn't follow it bit by bit, as I was pretty late in subscribing, but whatever I followed did make a huge difference! Though, my testimonial can become 2 pages long if I express myself completely, but I will be crisp and mention the two most important things that created an impact.

Firstly, I could create a streamlined answer for Why MBA. Believe me, the question though seems simple, it can be a make or break thing. I read all the experiences, formed a crisp answer and sent it to Sukrut. He told me what I was missing on (the bit on goals - long term and short term ones and how they should be related to the current work; everything is mentioned in IS) and advised me to consult my friends or relatives who were working in a similar field. I added some action points, did some brainstorming, connected with people, scoured LinkedIn and it indeed helped me a lot!

Secondly, learning from your past mistakes and convincing them with examples worked for me. I remember my MDI interview experience when I was in my 4th year. Since I am from IT background, they asked me what's the difference between data, information, knowledge and wisdom. I was bashed quite badly. Just one day before my interview for IIT Madras this year, this thing popped into my head since I can never forget that interview, I googled and read some amazing responses with examples. I couldn't believe myself when the same question was asked to me the next day and I nailed it well with an example! As you said, this was the irresistible hook in my story :))

I have lots of other things to share if I am allowed the space.. I am just kidding. with all my heart I want to thank you. I will keep this material with me till I can. M sure whenever I will see it, I will have a lot to improve!

And yes, the lessons really helped me with the obvious questions asked in interviews. It also helped me guide the panel towards my strong areas (with help of seduction formula). Never thought it would be so easy to manipulate them, but it really happened in both the interviews.

I had Great Lakes and IMT Dubai interviews a week before SIBM & SCMHRD. I learned from my mistakes in (Great lakes & IMT) previous interviews and worked on it to later convert both SYMBIOSIS colleges.

Also, how could I forget your guidance in completing the answers for SIBM & SCMHRD. That also had an impact somewhere on the panelists.

Backed all my answers with genuine examples which worked like a charm on them.

SOP tips were really helpful. At first I was wondering how to write even 200 words, forget about 600 words but then your tips really helped. And when I read your SOP, I just started out with mine and I ended up having written way more than 600 words

I got selected at Abbott for Internship in Marketing. I had referred your notes last week. It helped me a lot.
The assignment where I had to answer specific questions helped me to know my interest and inclination and I included some of those answers in HR Questions like "Tell me something about yourself" and I went through GD module 1 day prior to the process. I went through Do's and Don'ts. It definitely helped me.

GD/WAT/PI Revolution course has been very helpful for me. The course material is detailed and with good examples.
SOP chapter was very helpful in writing succinct answers. PI chapter honed my skills to tackle all  interview questions and feel confident while answering them.
Essay writing chapters were very well explained about how to construct a good essay in just 20 minutes.
Your on-call support to help with all the doubts was indeed very helpful.
This course has given me deep insight into myself and improved self confidence.

I subscribed pretty late to your course and hence couldn't optimally make use of it.
However, I read through the whole material and especially made use of facing the interview part.I have converted NMIMS and definitely you had a big role to play in it.I introspected a lot and zeroed on to my short term and long term goals.I stuck to it throughout my interview.I guess the panel liked the clarity on my part.
As I already have 5 years of work ex, I may not join NMIMS. I intend to apply for ISB next fall.The interview and essays are going to play a major role there and I want to start preparing for it right now.I will start from scratch using your material.I may need your help.I believe it is one of the best material I have come across.Thanks a lot for your help.

I learned about my strengths, passions and my thought process, or brainstorming as you had pointed it out. Previously, I had never, ever given them a serious thought and I'm pretty sure that I would have been fumbling if I were presented the same question in my B-School interview. Your persuasive methods did have me giving a serious thought about my gifts and strengths, which were duly noted down and would sure serve as good fodder/ ammo for my future interviews. Moreover, I can present them in a lucid manner like ever before. Plus, I have begin to feel a bit more confident of myself as a person, now that I have learned to focus and recollect my strengths.

These methods were persuasive enough to have a practical person like me, actually tale time to focus on abstract topics like gifts, passions, strengths and personality. In short, they appeal the subconscious somehow. I have previously referred to various other online resources previously on how to tackle the strengths and weaknesses questions. But they were all in vain, as they were pretty superficial. However, this one gets to the core of your head to dig out your positive points, motivating you enough to dig down hard to know about those, even though we forget about them

I am glad that you gave your opinions and viewpoints over my IIFT form. Actually whatever I wrote in the previous draft would have made sense to a person in the legal department and what I was driving at. But then you found it to be stilted language, I realized how far I have become from a normal person who is out there to do some business and marketing. So your comments about 'stilted language' actually altered my thought processes.

Also your point about interviewers interested in a story also influenced me to break it down to simple messages. I was under the impression that these are old professors and talking at a legal-academic level might cut more ice with them. But yes, who does not love a story? especially during the interview day, when hundreds of candidates have to pass through. That's why C.K. Prahlad was changed to Sunil Abraham.

And that suggestion about theory of 'Pre-eminence' was that extra spice I needed to complete the answer on ethics. Although I did not use the same terms or the name of the theorist, which I suspected could be used by your other course-users, but the core idea of 'customer-satisfaction' completed my answer. So thank you for that too.

And yes your lesson 5 did help. I received it late last night, read it through, processed it all together in one go. It did help

Definitely your help, your approach is than different conventional teaching methods and way better for approaching the interviews. I didn't have much time but I took the main hints like not being too general in interviews, having supportive stories for whatever you mention, having that balanced approach for writing WAT; some of the things which helped me in a short time. I have an interview on Monday for SJMSOM so can't interact and learn more as much as I want to but there is no doubt that if done with enough prep time on your side, your material can be of great help to anyone.
